It is reasonable for your smartphone to heat up a bit during intensive use. This is because the phone draws up power from the battery, causing it to become hotter when the power is drawn at a faster than normal rate—say when you’re playing games. However, it becomes a major problem when it gets too hot to use, TechRadar in a bid to find out which device is the hottest, carried out a heat test. They put six phones against one another – specifically the iPhone 6s Plus, Galaxy S7 Edge, HTC 10, LG G5, Nexus 6P and the One Plus 3 — while playing Real Racing 3 for about 2 hours.
Each device measured about 77 degrees Fahrenheit before playing the game.
After 5 minutes, we had:
Coolest: Galaxy S7 Edge – 89.6 degrees Fahrenheit
Hottest: HTC 10 – 99.9 degrees Fahrenheit
After 15 minutes –
Coolest: Galaxy S7 Edge – 94.5 degrees Fahrenheit
Hottest: HTC 10 – 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit
After 45 minutes –
Coolest: Galaxy S7 Edge – 100.2 degrees Fahrenheit
Hottest: HTC 10 – 107.6 degrees Fahrenheit
After 2 hours –
Coolest: Galaxy S7 Edge – 101.7 degrees Fahrenheit
Hottest: HTC 10 – 111.2 degrees Fahrenheit

I was slightly shocked with the results; I expected the HTC 10 to do better. Unfortunately, the HTC 10 was the hottest, and the S7 Edge clinched the title for the coolest phone available today. #TheIrony!
